start speaking, reading and writing it. A child picks up his mother tongue quickly because
he listens to everyone around him speaking it. When he grows older he starts speaking, reading and writing it.
In India, a lot of people can read and write in English but completely lack the ability to
fluently speak the language. The reason is simple. In the environment they are in the exposure to English is low.
The common weak link in our language skills is our skill to listen and speak ... and not read
